The event featured 60 students from across the province and their projects on diverse heritage topics of local, provincial, and national significance. We would like to thank our special guests, our patron, the Honourable Bernadette McIntyre, MLA Blaine McLeod, MLA Noor Burki, and MLA Brent Blakely (Shadow Minister of Parks Culture & Sport). Thank you to all our volunteer judges, chaperones and Government House staff for helping us host a successful event!

The Top Ten will receive certificates in addition to the book prizes received at the ceremony. The Top Score & Runner-up Score also received additional book prizes.
Special congratulations to all the winners! We had many wonderful projects this year.
We also thank everyone who participated in the 2026 Virtual Heritage Fair, the Regional Heritage Fairs in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, and Regina, and the inaugural Humboldt Community Heritage Fair.
The winners of the Archives, Mixed Media, Innovation, and Historical Thinking Awards will each receive a bursary cheque of $500 as well as the plaque that was awarded at the ceremony.
The winners of the SK Heritage Foundation Award, the Celebrating Canada Award, and the SK Genealogical Society Family History Award will each receive a bursary cheque of $150 as well as the plaque that was awarded at the ceremony.
The winner of the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society award was provided a prize package from the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society during the awards ceremony.
