First World War Commemoration

August 4, 2014 - Saskatchewan Legislative Building

On August 4, 2014, Heritage Saskatchewan was invited to participate in an anniversary event held at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War. As part of this event, students who had created Heritage Fairs projects on the First World War were invited to attend and display their projects to visitors and dignitaries.

Eight students and their families came to spend their Saskatchewan Day Monday at the Legislature:

Vimy Ridge (Clay Devine - Gr. 6, École St. Paul School, Saskatoon)
