At the 2017 Provincial Heritage Fair, three students volunteered to share abbreviated presentations of their projects on video. These videos, approximately three (3) minutes each, demonstrate how a student's initial presentation should look and sound like. This is how these students presented their projects in terms of subject matter and how it is meaningful to them. Not depicted is how they would then answer further questions from judges (about their research process, why they think their topic is important, etc.).
Grade 5 (French Immersion) Project:
Daysha (CNIB/INCA)
Grade 6 Project:
Tyler (Maple Syrup)
Grade 8 Project:
Ethan (The Klondike Gold Rush)
In addition, we have some clips from the 2013 Provincial Heritage Fair. These 60-second clips below show the students' answers to questions that judges might ask, such as how they designed their project, why they picked it, how they did their research, etc. These students were in grade six in 2013 and come from Saskatoon.
